Tokyo Hy-Power has an exclusive sales agreement with Ham Radio Outlet in the United States. For the few products not offered by HRO it's best to contact Tokyo Hy-Power in Japan directly. THP has an International Trade Division which accepts payment in US dollars. I do not know if they accept any other currencies (other than Japanese yen) and would love to hear from and hams in English-speaking countires other than the U.S. about their purchasing experiences.
Hams in the U.K. can purchase the Tokyo Hy-Power line of VHF/UHF amplifiers from Radio World. They do not seem to have either the HF amplifiers. Some other U.K. dealers, as well as some elsewhere in the European Union, are now carrying the full THP line. Information will be posted as soon as it becomes available.
The best way to go about ordering is to request a quote via e-mail or fax. They will
respond with the current price, as well as shipping and insurance costs and let you know
if the item is currently in stock. For Americans they currently accept major credit
cards, wire transfers, International Postal Money Orders, and bank checks drawn on a
Tokyo bank. Delivery time is typically one week after they receive payment as they ship
via EMS (air post). Many hams on the Tokyo Hy-Power reflector have found their service to
be excellent in terms of filling orders promptly.
